The other day I was at a new age shop and could not help but to over hear a conversation that two ladies were having. Mainly because they were standing right next to me! The one slender lady told her heavier counterpart that all she needed to do was not focus on her weight and it would drop of like hot butter. Then she said to focus on the image in her mind that she wants to look like. Ok-I am all for the “see the image in your mind and let your new self grow from there” but, when she said not to do any exercise with the imaging I got a little more concerned. Exercise is one of the biggest parts in the Discipline of Success needed to lose weight.

While I am a huge believer of the mind controlling the body I also believe when it comes to weight loss that you will need the help of calories being burn to give the body a healthier furnace in which to lose weight. We are spiritual beings that are having a physical experience. So we need the Discipline of Success  of the flesh in order to produce experience. For an example: You can think about eating a cold ripe refreshing apple or you can physically eat the cold refreshing apple. There will be two different experiences of the two actions. Thinking about eating an apple in your subjective mind feels different then eating the apple in the physical sense. It is true that the brain does not know the difference between what it imagines and what you see going on in the supposed outside world,  but  I can tell you that when I think about eating an apple and then actually eat an apple my taste buds know as does my body. Try for yourself and see the difference.

The mind is the controller of the brain, body and in fact, the mind. It  is the universe that your subjective consciousness lives in and creates from. (More about this another time). The mind is the universe that created your physical world that you live in and are currently experiencing. So do not resist the physical world and the actions that need to be done in it, Discipline of Success, or you will find that you have to hang around here on this earth longer in order to gain the much needed physical experience.

The long and the short of all this comes down to having the Discipline of Success  to achieve your goals. Let’s face the facts that remote control televisions , automobiles and so forth are not very conductive to moving around. Since we do not move around to do other things, we try and avoid moving around for all things, and this is the weight trap.  If the physical body is low energy then the brain and the mind are very much sluggish (Lack of the Discipline of Success).  There is nothing worse than lack of your Discipline of Success when you are trying to lose weight. This  makes losing weight all the more hard. So you want to create the discipline for success in weight loss and all avenues in your life by getting the mind and brain to feel better. Imagine the feeling of your body when it is healthy and moving around at will comfortably with no aches and pains. Just think how it feels to be extremely comfortable in your own body, that feels clean and refreshing ,to exist in. Well in order to make that happen you have to develop the energy capacity for the mind and brain to be running at top performance and with the Discipline of Success . Discipline your eating and exercise and soon there will be no discipline involved, only a lifestyle of healthy choices and an abundance of success in all walks of your life.

Discipline of Success should be part of your daily thinking, no matter your goals.
