Personal Development and Awakening the Personal Will
Personal Development and Awakening the Personal Will
Personal Will – it has been described as the most powerful tool of all in spirituality and Personal Development. The “personal will” is without a doubt the most powerful force that can bring you to take action instead of sitting on the sidelines watching the game of life. Personal Development should teach that the “personal will” is the game player that can literally win the game for you.
The “personal will” is the ability to transform a belief and thought into something significant in the game of life because it makes you take action. Nothing in your life changes until you take action. The “personal will” is the force of your mind in action. When tools of the mind are brought together and understood, nothing is beyond the grasp of a successful leader. The leader knows that “personal will” is directed through your attention. Attention is the creator and sustainer of reality. Personal Development teaches you (if it is a great course) that your reality is made and sustained from the use of your focused attention.
The leader knows that it does no good to believe in themselves when creating something new. They know that creation is an outgoing process and that they need to believe in what they are trying to create into physical reality. So, understanding what the leader is trying to create and why is crucial to the manifestation of the goal into physical reality. The more the leader can apply their belief system into the goal they want to achieve, the easier it is to control their attention in the creation and move their “personal will” into motion.
Personal Development training should be teaching you about your beliefs and attention and “personal will” right off the bat. The personal development course should do more than give you examples and philosophy as well – there should be mental exercises that bring these skills into play.
Firstly, the leader should start conditioning their “personal will” into the ability to make a decision and then see it through to completion. To start on a small scale, look at a finger and do not move the finger until you consciously give it permission to move and decide when it can move. Then do your hand the exact same way. Then assign yourself small goals that must be done within a certain time limit. Make sure the small goals are completed within the time limit you set. When you are getting good at the small goals, then progress to medium size goals; like determining when you will exercise and for a certain amount of time each session. You can then move on to larger goals and so on. Don’t push too fast. Take your time and get the discipline down of what you are doing and why.
Make sure your personal development training is allowing you to advance your “personal will” and that you see it growing and you feel it growing and maybe keep track of your goals and you can even measure them. Many people do not like the fact that success demands discipline, but without the discipline of the “personal will” you will not achieve as you could. There must be a disciplined will for there to be great success!
