Personal Development and Making Change You Can Believe In

Never allow it to be said that you cannot be the driver of your destiny. There are many things you will need to learn in order to gain great control over your future. One of the three strongest skills is to understand your present state of mind and comprehend where you are because of it. Personal Development will teach you to stay present in this very moment and to appreciate that you are there. Appreciating where you are and why you are there will do a lot for how you see yourself now and into the future.

Personal Development should not leave you thinking what you should do with your life in the present, it should show you how to be mindful and what to do with the experiences that you are having in the present. Making a change in the future depends on where you are presently in the moment and how you see that moment. If you can clearly see where you are right now in the moment you can take inventory of all you have at your disposal for your future creation. Being in the present with your thoughts concentrated on what is around you and what you can learn from it or use to your advantage is a large part of being a success. Why? Most people miss the opportunities forming right around them because they possess the wrong mind set in the present moment.

Personal Development will help you center your attention and make your senses available to you in the moment. This makes it easier to see opportunity when it is in front of you. Most people not only don’t make goals for their life, but also never look for the opportunity all around them. They make so much noise about having nothing they are not paying attention from where they are starting and all the opportunities around them to help them on their quest into the future. If there are aspects of yourself that you do not want to see then you cannot gain the perspective on how to go about changing them and making them better for yourself.

Personal Development should offer you exercises to develop your ability for being aware and existing in the moment along with how to make this trait a characteristic you benefit from in your daily life. In the next blog, we will talk about stepping from your past and not looking back again.

Personal Development and Awakening the Personal Will

Personal Will – it has been described as the most powerful tool of all in spirituality and Personal Development. The “personal will” is without a doubt the most powerful force that can bring you to take action instead of sitting on the sidelines watching the game of life. Personal Development should teach that the “personal will” is the game player that can literally win the game for you.

The “personal will” is the ability to transform a belief and thought into something significant in the game of life because it makes you take action. Nothing in your life changes until you take action. The “personal will” is the force of your mind in action. When tools of the mind are brought together and understood, nothing is beyond the grasp of a successful leader. The leader knows that “personal will” is directed through your attention. Attention is the creator and sustainer of reality. Personal Development teaches you (if it is a great course) that your reality is made and sustained from the use of your focused attention.

The leader knows that it does no good to believe in themselves when creating something new. They know that creation is an outgoing process and that they need to believe in what they are trying to create into physical reality. So, understanding what the leader is trying to create and why is crucial to the manifestation of the goal into physical reality. The more the leader can apply their belief system into the goal they want to achieve, the easier it is to control their attention in the creation and move their “personal will” into motion.

Personal Development training should be teaching you about your beliefs and attention and “personal will” right off the bat. The personal development course should do more than give you examples and philosophy as well – there should be mental exercises that bring these skills into play.

Firstly, the leader should start conditioning their “personal will” into the ability to make a decision and then see it through to completion. To start on a small scale, look at a finger and do not move the finger until you consciously give it permission to move and decide when it can move. Then do your hand the exact same way. Then assign yourself small goals that must be done within a certain time limit. Make sure the small goals are completed within the time limit you set. When you are getting good at the small goals, then progress to medium size goals; like determining when you will exercise and for a certain amount of time each session. You can then move on to larger goals and so on. Don’t push too fast. Take your time and get the discipline down of what you are doing and why.

Make sure your personal development training is allowing you to advance your “personal will” and that you see it growing and you feel it growing and maybe keep track of your goals and you can even measure them. Many people do not like the fact that success demands discipline, but without the discipline of the “personal will” you will not achieve as you could. There must be a disciplined will for there to be great success!

Personal Development and Mental Training for Achieving Goals

Training for achieving goals sounds a bit strange I agree; however, it is very true if you think about what it really means. Most people do not have the proper skills and mental tools to accomplish their goals once they define them and put them in motion. Simple gesture to explore this statement is to think why there are not more successful people in the world today. I mean, opportunity is everywhere. Your Personal Development course should train you in the skills needed to accomplish the goals you want in your life.

We all know or are beginning to catch the simple truth that weekend Personal Development training is not working and never really has. That is why you need a comprehensive Personal Development course that will teach you how to develop your personal will, your focused attention, how to control your emotions, and how to stick to your script once you write your personal goals and succeed at them. The fact is, emotional intelligence may have a far greater impact on your success than IQ does. It is far easier to raise your emotional intelligence than it is your IQ.

Personal Development should teach the value of emotional intelligence as the starting line because it is here where the game of goal setting and goal achieving are really won and lost. In fact it is where our personal happiness is for us. The psychological words and thoughts that we use daily will impress images and associations to our own minds and dictate sub-consciously how we feel and interpret experiences around us.

Personal Development should teach you as the leader of yourself and of others you need to have the ability to control your emotions. Emotional control can stop you from flying off the handle, prevent you from making hasty decisions in the moment that can be detrimental to your success and reputation. Hasty emotions without the benefit of intellect will almost always come back to you in the wrong way.

The Personal Development course of training you choose to follow should have experiential procedures in the philosophy to allow you to experience for yourself if the philosophy is right for you or not. When you have the ability to experience how to control your emotions you gain the edge over controlling your personal will and your attention. When you gain control over these faculties of the mind you have better control of your outer environment because you can control how the environment affects you through your experience of the event and the circumstances.

Personal Development should teach you to control your emotions as the lead skill in order to gain new perspectives on your goals and to keep the old perspectives in alignment with your actions. When you have the power of your emotions under control you are centered and focused and nothing can pull you out of the center of your focus and you are fully in charge of where your attention goes and what it focuses on. So, awakening your personal will is the topic of the next blog and the blog after that will be on developing laser like attention control.

Personal Development – Strategic Planning and Execution !

The Encarta Dictionary defines strategy as a carefully devised plan of action to achieve a goal, or the art of developing or carrying out such a plan.

It also defines execution as the style or manner in which something is carried out or accomplished.

We are not really taught to think things all the way through and try to play the outcome in our minds. We most of the time just move forward with plans and ideas about execution of our plans in very small steps with no real back up plan of any kind. That is why a Personal Development Course that provides real life training and systems for success is crucial for becoming a great achiever of your goals.

Without this Personal Development training, most people will create very weak results in what they are trying to create into their life. Most of the successful leaders are very organize in their approach to obtain and reach their personal goals. They also are big readers and take Personal Development courses so they can advance their training, knowledge and know how. They are also doers themselves and take a pro-active stance in everything they do so they can understand the obstacles and overcome them. This makes them effective leaders with others because they understand what the other person will need to go through in order to obtain the objective at hand.

Leaders try and align the correct people with goals that are best for their talents and that which they have a passion for. It helps enormously to assign goals to people that have a high degree of skill in that area and a deep passion for as well. So, organizing the goals into the hands of the right people with the right skill for the task is also huge to the overall success of the goal. Goals that have passion and the right person with the proper skills, get things done. One of the things that personal development will align you with is clarity. When a goal is clearly understood and the direction to be taken is clear and precise, the outcome is all but assured.

Gain clarity on what is to be accomplished and how and things become a lot easier in the process of making the goal a reality. Make sure you feel a sense of commitment to the goal and that the goal is absolutely vital to fulfilling your life’s dreams. Commitment of your goals to the quality of your life is very powerful in making sure you stay focused and on track. Try to make the goal have a short term benefit and result and of course for the long term as well. Long term goals work best if broken up into rewarding smaller goals.

Personal Development will teach you to use your “personal will” when trying to reach a goal; however, your “personal will” can only last so long before your attention breaks and sends you into a tail spend. So creating clarity and understanding to your commitment are vital. Seeing your short-term reward is extremely beneficial to your success. Sometimes when the benefits, results and rewards are so far off you lose your luster. You will need to train in a solid Personal Development course that will bring about the mental techniques that will provide you the additional mental training that you never gained from your other sources of knowledge. More about those mental tools and techniques in the next Blog.

Personal Development Training and Becoming a Leader!

It is very apparent if you take the time to look around you that the world is lacking credible and effective leadership. The United States use to be fully leveraged with great leaders; however, we have declined with the rest of the world. A course of Personal Development should always have material on how to be a great leader. The main thing to becoming a great leader is to become your own self-leader every day. If you cannot motivate and manage yourself to effective outcomes how will you do it with anyone else?

Many people like to think they are great leaders because it makes them feel good about themselves and where they are in their life.; however, if you are not living the way you want, and feeling the way you want, and the life experiences you want are not present in your life then you are having a degree of self-leadership problem. Personal Development teaches that not everyone has to want the same life and the same level of success, but if you know what you want and you are not receiving it into your life you have to take notice of your lack of inventory.

Personal Development should teach how to develop your life to the degree that you want to live. One of the great abilities that great leaders must have (and it is inescapable) is self-motivation. Taking that last statement to a more specific level is that leaders do what they say they are going to do. Leaders plan well and make off-the-cuff decisions with faith and follow through. This comes from their high self-confidence level.

Personal Development should have you training in a high degree of personal follow through. The great leaders have iron clad will when it comes to their follow through. Bottom line is that great leaders execute and engage obstacles and situations turning them into opportunities. If your Personal Development Course does not teach you about leadership, get out of it and enroll into one that does. Many people will set goals (creations) and never follow through with them. But, a leader will follow through to completion. Become a hands on executor of your goals. Never take your eye off the prize and know when you feel discouraged and re-align yourself.

Personal Development is not just about feeling good and taking a break from your life. Personal Development is about real training and real skills that get you where you want to be, period. It does not mean it is emotional or material or any other way. One of the things that happened to me when I first got into Personal Development was the thought that I was going to be a Master of Life and nothing bad or inconvenient would happen to me. Now to a great degree, things did become a lot smoother because I learned what to do and what not to do and not to place myself in compromising positions in the first place. I soon learned the real training behind Personal Development. Like the Martial Arts, you train for when you need the fighting skills to win a fight or to protect yourself or loved ones. Personal Development trains you for the problems in your life and how to skillfully take care of them and staying relaxed in the process. Great Leaders are executors and take care of situations as they arise and they do not quit until they engage their plan and are successful. Do they fail? Yes, of course they do, but they learn from their personal failures. They also realize their failures are not who they are, but is rather about what they did so they do not take failures personally. Instead, they take them as learning lessons, re-align and move forward.

Personal Development training will bridge the gap between execution and strategy. Many people can make a plan but few truly engage and execute. More on strategy and execution on tomorrow’s blog posting.

Personal Development and the Energy Vampire

I am constantly being attacked for my Personal Development because I came from the world of Martial Arts. If someone does not like your lineage and/or your Instructors, they take it out on you. It seems everyone displays the complex that, “My Instructor can whip your Instructor,” and, “My credentials are better than yours in the Martial Arts.”

One of the things that Personal Development helped me to see was not to be swayed in your endeavors to better yourself and to help another grow in the process if they so desire it. Personal Development has helped me see that perceptions are a funny thing. The reason is, perceptions are formulated from your beliefs. So, whatever a person believes about you will constitute their perception of you. This happens even if what they know about you is conjecture and lies. However, most people do not care about this since they want what they want to be true about you regardless of whether it is true or not.

There are people in the Martial Arts who do not like one of my Instructors and because of this they are of the opinion that he and I are no good and everything we learned and practiced is a joke. They do not take the time to get to know me to see if I am a good Martial Artist, they just continue to troll.

Any evidence you offer to them is never going to be good enough for them to even take a new viewpoint into consideration. I mean, if they turn back now, then everything they posted on their site and everywhere else makes them look foolish. However, with the information I post on my website it merely continues to make it look bad for them and they know it. Personal Development calls these people the “Nay Sayers” since they want only to follow you around and criticize you rather than do anything constructive in their own world and seem to exist only to put others down. I believe this gives them some feeling of control in their world and helps them cope with their own fears and self-inadequacies. Personal Development does not teach that instead of handling your own fears and self-doubts you project onto others and try to make them look small or try to fix them in a vain attempt to fix yourself.

One of the seven skills in Self-Mastery is to recognize that others will say and do what they want and at your expense sometimes. However, these types of “Energy Vampires” who try and drain the life force from you for their own survival always get what is coming to them in the end. They have to as it is in their own consciousness and they cannot get away from themselves. Their habits will eventually catch up with them and take their toll.

Live your life with honor and respect that even if you have made mistakes in your life so has everyone else. However, the difference with you is you are fixing yours to the best you can and moving on as an honest and heartfelt caring person. But that means caring for you and loving yourself first. As for the others, wish them luck and give them room to grow and “maybe” in time they will grow as a more conscious person and evolve from their small consciousness into something larger allowing them to really help humanity.

Self-Mastery through Personal Development

In my thirty years of training in the Martial Arts and Personal Development, I have learned a few invaluable things about Self-Mastery. First you need to determine what self-mastery is to you and what does it mean to obtain it for yourself. When in the Martial Arts, there was a course laid out for us to follow in order to achieve the level of Black Belt and then onward to more and more rank, knowledge and wisdom. So we knew what we were trying to achieve through the process of our focus and the fruits of our labor.

I believe it to be completely necessary to have a planned lined of attack for what you are going to try and achieve self-mastery at. To this end, it is wise to take a few minutes, sit down and think about what you want to accomplish in a Personal Development Self-Mastery Training Course. Here are some ideas for you to explore and consider as a starting place for your Personal Development Self-Mastery course training.

Moral character: We all have areas in our moral character where we should take inventory, look at ourselves and make changes. Make your personal development course about what you can do to change an unwanted or undesirable characteristic or trait and change it to a characteristic you desire.

This will require taking a serious and hard core look at yourself. Have your friends and family help you with their point of view about where you could use improve your character and see if there is a running theme. If so, consider adapting that into your Personal Development Self-Mastery Training Course. Develop skills and self-management tools you do not have currently, but that you know if you did have them you know you would go further.

Also make sure that the self-mastery course is balanced. Meaning, make sure you try and excel in the physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, and business world. You do want to leave out any part of skills you need to advance yourself in all areas of your life including possibly shedding unwanted weight, gain muscle, increase your cardio, learn and use new words you did not previously know. Learn to control your attention, learn to be a better listener to others, learn about things that are good for conversation. Learn how things work. Learn new skills that will advance you at your job including how to make better relationships. The possibilities are endless. Design your personal development self-mastery course well and I will see you at the top of your game.

Self-esteem is crucial for your personal success. Your self-esteem is linked to the way you will allow other to treat you daily. This treatment that you allow daily will greatly and profoundly effect the rest of your life. When you have great levels of self-confidence it will greatly and automatically effect your levels of self-resiliency. (Please see my blog posting on Self-Resiliency.)

Self-esteem training you receive from Personal Development Training can be done at home at work or anywhere. In fact , any good Personal Development Training should have a section about building confidence. There are so many things you can do to build your sense of worth I could write an entire book on the techniques themselves. But, there are some particular personal development techniques to help you build your solid and impenetrable self-esteem. First let’s start with some of my observations and studies when it comes to high self-esteem.

Traits of High Self-Esteem

The person of high self-esteem has great levels of self-confidence – they go together like peanut butter and jelly. These people display a high attitude of “I will achieve this” and when they say it you believe it because you can see and feel the conviction and belief in what they are doing. They have been through good Personal Development Training.

High self-regard is seen in the way they handle themselves and other people. People with high self worth have their act together and are organized and they do not break in the face of adversity daily. Personal Development training will foster the ability to keep improving themselves to the point they have flow in their lives.

They are planners and execute their plans. This is a big bonus to having self-esteem because if you believe you can achieve, you will act accordingly and planning is one of those acts of clarity and purpose. People with high self-esteem have great clarity and focus.

People with high self-esteem treat obstacles differently than those who do not have it. Obstacles are part of the course and will need to be dealt with accordingly. They look for the information to solve the obstacle instead of remaining stuck and fearful of the obstacle itself and what “might” happen.

The Psychological Behavior to Stop the Vicious Cycle of Low Self-Esteem

Stop blaming yourself when you make a mistake or fall short of a goal. You can own the fact that you did not complete the goal on time or that you made a mistake, but do not believe that you are a person of low results or can’t be trusted or that you fail at everything you do. Accept that there will be set backs and that you are a person who possess ample self-esteem and that you will continue to push through to the end until finished. This will re-wire your sub-conscious thoughts and beliefs about yourself. Personal Development Training will teach you that your beliefs and thoughts will create who you sub-consciously structure yourself to be. So be very careful not to make the mistake of putting yourself down when things go wrong (as they will do) you are not those setbacks, you are the solver of those setbacks.

Think of one thing that you believe yourself to not be good at or that you don’t do very well but need to or would really like to do. Make it small and allow yourself a reasonable amount of time to complete it or learn the skill you need to begin doing the thing properly. The more things you do right that you could not do before the more your confidence goes up. Remember, start small and work your way up!

It is an odd concept to me that you can go to a weekend seminar or workshop and think you can make a difference in your life of any real substantial gain. Change is a very big concept. Change? What type of change? How do I make the change? Why do I need the change? These are all big questions and even after they are answered, does not mean that change is guaranteed.

Personal Development should be a training course like the martial arts offer. I mean, if you had a class you had to come to once a week and some homework you had to do you would be more likely to stick to the plan you are attempting to implement into your life. This is especially true when you then take a test every thirty days to be sure you are learning the techniques, can perform them and that they are making a difference in your life. Creotology Personal Development has done this by fusing personal development and the martial arts together for you.

I know many people who have paid thousands of dollars to go to a weekend seminar or workshop and leave feeling empowered (I am going to take on the world and it will bend to my personal will) and ready to change their life come Monday morning, only to find themselves within a week or two right back at the same problems and obstacles wondering what went wrong. “My confidence is taking a hit right about this time, but I have to be strong and realize it is not my fault that my life is not changing, it is the fault of the system and approach I am using.”

I developed Creotology Personal Development to be a horse of a different color so to speak. It is a one-of-a-kind program that follows you every step of the way and stays with you until the change you want is made and you are using it in your daily life. We are here weekly for you and so are you, in turn, for us since the support groups helps immensely in terms of friends holding friends accountable.

So if you’re not getting the changes you want in your personal development course it is not your fault, it is the way the personal development course is designed that you are dealing with. Try the Creotology Personal Development Course – it is change you can see and feel every step of the way.

Personal Development and Some of the Primary Focus of Control!

As the world becomes a more competitive place to live in, we are naturally trying for a edge in our life’s that will allow us and our children to evolve and thrive. Personal Development is not only about your growth as a person, but also about other people who are beginning to train and to become Personal Development Instructors.

A Personal Development Instructor is called a Creational Master in Creotology Personal Development. It is a good thing to be sure that the Personal Development Course or Instructor you take on is qualified with some type of training that shows they are able to truly excel in life and are capable of accomplishing things that are in alignment with what you want to create or they have accomplished something higher than what you want and now you are inspired by them to try and do the same. In other words, your Personal Development Instructor should stretch you towards being more than you imagined you could have ever become.

This is easier said than done. Most Personal Development Instructors are just repeating the same information from one book to the next. While the basics stay the same (as in any well established system) you need to look for Personal Development Instructors that are on the cutting edge of information and transformational mental techniques. It is also important they be evolving themselves and not just resting on their past achievements. They must be trying to evolve and grow as well.

Self-awareness is a primary tool that we as humans have developed and know that we are not our thoughts or actions. Many people get caught up in the idea that they are what they think and act upon. However, this is not true. Most peoples actions and thoughts are on a sub-conscious level and therefore they are not even in control of their thoughts and actions. That is why a good Personal Development Course or Instructor will give you training to become more of a deliberate and conscious creator in your life. To become more of a conscious creator in your life does involve training and action in your life. You will have to study and test things in your life to see if they are worth your time or not, but, isn’t your life worth it?

Self-awareness allows you to have a deep introspection of yourself and the ability to know if something is wrong or right for you. You learn to listen to yourself and not take things personally. When you fail at something you do not personalize it and lower your self-confidence by that event in your life. You learn that you can grow by your mistakes and failures and that you are more than you first thought yourself to be. A good Personal Development Instructor or Course will help you to easily see this and through your increasing self-awareness, you can become a larger more conscious persona and grow beyond your wildest dreams.
