The conservation of energy is a valuable source of information. The conservation of energy applies to our emotions as well. Do not dwell on emotion, just experience that emotion and let it go; or chose not to experience the emotion and move on. When taking action on anything abstract or physical there should be a time for action and a time for no action. The contemplation of taking an action can also use a lot of energy. Think of nothing until the time is required for this action to happen. Energy is a precious thing to the human body. We are designed to move and we should, but wasted action will create the lack of being effective at what you want and disturb the balance that exists between wanting to take action, but not having the energy to do so.
Too many people wear themselves out daily either trying to decide what to do or ultimately doing nothing at all. Wasting energy and action on things that have no closure to them is a waste of your time. There is a time for everything and you have to be wise enough to know when that time is. Being in control of your energy and actions are paramount requirements if you want to be successful in life. You have to choose your battles wisely if you are going to win the war. Once you are in control of your actions and emotions life becomes more relaxed, rather than a mad dash to get somewhere for reasons you do not even know, but simply because an impulse had controlled you. The emotion that controls you when taking unnecessary action uses up your energy, time and effectiveness, so wait until there is a time to respond and you can then do it more effectively.
